I've only been stuck in snow, that i can remember. Heres a night wheelin pic from last spring. There was a layer of crusty snow that I broke through and sat it on the frame. This was like 10 miles from the nearest town and at 1am without a winch. My buddy tyler tried to come get me with his 02, but didnt even get as far as i did. It took like 1 1/2hrs with 4 college guys, 2 shovels, and a come-a-long to a tree to get me out, then 5 min for me to yank him out with my tow strap. My winch was purchased next week. :embarassed: lol

2nd pic is of one of my friends little brother that got his 91 pre-Tacoma sittin on new 35" toyo MTs stuck in this creek. It started to taper off, then when he tried to back out it just dug the front tire in the sand/ loose gravel so I came to pull him out.

I work for the National Forest Service, and that road he is on looks to be an unimproved road that is well traveled and established. So he wasn't doing damage to any grass land that wasn't already part of the road or had already been done. So let's not jump to conclusions and tell people that you don't know how to wheel.

PS if you didn't want to derail the thread, then you shouldn't have said what you did, etiquette goes a long way on the internet. Send him your thoughts in a PM.

Psych! I was yanking out the Cherokee. He only paid $500 for it.

Haven't been stuck with my Taco. I have some pics of my old Toy stuck but not on the conputer.

The ORP where that pic was taken at has mudholes that are deeper than my truck is tall. There are pics up on my local 4x4 site of guys buried there with about enough room to smoke a cigarette out the window. Another where all you see is the roof of a Blazer on 38s.

My Kumho MTs have let me walk right through what I thought I would never get through I will say. Hopefully what ever new shoes I end up with in the spring work just as good.

A couple I found on the local site for your entertainment. I have a pic of my old Toy next to this guy's Blazer that is on 44s. I think I coulda driven under it and look how deep he is! BTW, I couldn't find the really bad one.

Hehe. Luckily that isn't me. I know better than to drive an S10! That is a waterhole at Silver Lake Sand Dunes. There are a lot of casualties from it. I don't know why people insist on trying to drive through them.

There's a freshwater river that runs out right there, we do a couple runs at full speed from each side and it washes it all out, no rust....well yet..
