the purple start wire has enough power to power both of the starter wires.

If I understand what you posted about your system it has a built in relay for starter 1 (like my Clifford) and a separate several hundred mA control output for starter 2, which is used to activate a user supplied relay. This control output (prob negative) connects the relay coil to ground so that the relay shuts the main high current contacts, the output of which should be connected to the starter 2 wire. The inputs for this relay should be one of the main feeds into the ignition switch. Many alarm /rs systems come this way because a lot of vehicles have only 1 starter so the starter 2 thing is made optional and requires the extra relay. Some of the newer high end systems come with starter 1 and 2 high capacity relays built in.

BTW, Stang says that 1 +12v input is enough current for S1 and S2. Probably true but I used one of them for starter 1 (via the built in relay) and the other for starter 2 (via the added on relay) as recommended by my install manual. That's how they are set up for normal key starting anyway, i.e. separate +12v inputs feeding S1 and S2.

Agree. I have it starting now. As stang suggested and you mention below........

What advantage is there for me to get a relay for this 2nd starter?Or can i just leave it jumped over like stang suggested.

the way i posted "works" but isnt the right way for other vehicles.. our 2nd starter pulls such low amperage that it doesnt hurt the remote start. most toyotas use a low amperage 2nd start wire that you can do this too. glad u got it up and working.... just so you know.. back in 95 my first remote start took me the whole entire day. and i even worked at a audio shop. remote starts have come along way in ease of installation.

Any help with the doorlocks....Mine are now wired into the drvr kick violet/grn/blk...
    Only the drvr door unlocks?

Autopage has two wires from the brain that are for doorlocks. But other wires over in the program side.

    OK.. Thread jacker here:

I'm interested in a VSS remote start from www.autoalarmpro.com. Ever heard of them? I'll take your suggestions.... Thanks.

WV_Tacoma: Awesome job; I enjoyed reading over the post. Shot me a PM as I'm up for some fishing even though I didn't help with the install. TTYL.

Our trucks have progressive locks (1 pulse on green/black unlocks drivers, second pulse gets others). My Clifford had a second unlock pulse wire that had to get spliced into the green/black unlock wire to make it work. Not sure if your Autopage has this. If it doesn't, I think you can get the locks to work all at once by connecting to the blue or gray (can't remember which one is lock and unlock)wires in that bundle that tap into the circuit common to the the inside door unlock switches (when you open with the inside switch it gets all locks at once).

Here is the lock control circuit. The gray wire is the door switch unlock wire which if you splice the Autopage unlock wire into should unlock all at once.
