Step bars and tonneau question

I just bought my 2010 Tacoma yesterday, see my post in the new members forum.

I have browsed the forums and see that there is a wealth of knowledge here and am glad I found it.

Here is my first question. Is it safe to assume that any step bars and tonneau covers I see for sale for a 2009 Tacoma Double Cab, short bed, will fit the 2010 model? I am finding that several truck accessory sales sites do not yet list the 2010 model.

congrat! yeah everything will fix your truck. I have 2010 DC with 2009 parts. I have Leer 700 tonneau with matching color and tube step from Toyota.

If you like the N-Fab Nerf Steps, you might still be able to get a set of the textured black powder coat finish variety from them for a good overstock price. They had about 90 sets available when I ordered mine in late August.
