    Just ordered these.
Hopefully they aren't too bright. If they are, I'll replace them with white ones.

So i am confused. I bought my 2013 new and this switch never lit up. Do you think that from the factory they just don't include the bulb? I say this because on some lexus vehicles they have the same door panel window switches and locks and they light up. Mine do not. I wonder if the bulbs are not included to save on build cost. If they can be lit I would buy the bulbs and put them in myself.

I'm also appalled that the window and door switches don't light up. From what I've read there currently is no fix to get those swithes illuminated. I'll be the first to buy lighted switch s if someone can make them.

Hi guys I'm new to this so I already ask this question but not sure how to go back to find the answer.
My crews control and compass use to work sometimes only and now don't work at all any ideas also I have no light on the shifter on the floor I have it in the dash board but I'm not sure if there should be a light on the floor shifter too

The automatic transmission floor shifter should be lighted where the P R N D, etc letters are.

Got the installed. They work. Not too bright.
The fit is slightly different than the stock bulb but it works.

    :notsure:
I didn't touch that one. It just hasn't burnt out yet.
Maybe you have to replace the whole switch instead of the bulb?

Thanks for info here, just took my Tacoma in for 5k service, the guy looked at me like I had 2 heads when I asked about the bulbs in the switches and nobody knew they even had bulbs, so needless to say they are ordering them for me under warranty and going to install them next time I stop in for the free oil changes ( or I guess I should say the ones they probably charge you an arm and a leg for in the price of the vehicle)

I ordered my led bulbs from super bright leds and they came out real nice. Only thing was you have to mess with the contact a bit. I put them in straight from the package and it didn't light up and I started to get worried, but when I pulled the wire that goes on the led up to contact the little brass piece on the button it lit up nice and I haven't had any problems and its been about a month now.

Replaced mine this weekend and like many of you mine never worked. I got my bulb from http://www.toyotapart.com/ and it was less than $7 delivered to my house.

Solid pics & instructions but 1 small addition to them: remember to remove the $13.93 in change from the cubby before removing the cubby......jk
