My drive in at 23:50 last night was a bit gnarly but there was no one on the road so it was quite relaxing.

My commute is about 30 feet depending on whether or not I detour by the bathroom. I told my manager that my commute this morning required a thermal shirt and wool slippers, but he didn't think that was a reasonable excuse for getting the day off. Ironic part is my employer is based in Atlanta and they're delaying opening until noon. They're not quite as prepared for this type of weather.

I must have seen half a dozen cars this morning with a little spot about the size of a piece of paper cleared off their windshield and the same on the driver side window. The rest of the car looked like a giant snowball.

I'm thinking "you can't even turn on your wipers. wth are you thinking?"

Those people are the reason we buy large bumpers. Well, one of the reasons... so maybe it's just an added benefit.

I'm almost a foot of new on top of the 3-4" left over from the earlier storm. The streets had about 8" still this morning.

we must be on the edge. I just cleared the van and it's close to 2", really light fluffy stuff. The kind of snow that produce's snowboard wet dreams.

For you snowmobiles, Larimie River Road and Long Draw road have a nice deep base and there was about 14" of fresh on top.

So im about to rebuild the entire front end of my truck. Cv boot is ripped and when I started looking around at things I decided to just do it all while im in there. Truck has about 120 on the clock. Planning cv axes, front hub and bearing from bamatoy, new tie rods, ball joints, and possibly a set of new uca's. Looking at these right now and curious what people think.

Look good, but at that price you can almost get all pro or camburg or multiple set of SPC/LR. I'd wait til they had some more miles or were on others trucks personally

My drive in this morning to work wasn't bad. But I left at 5am to beat traffic. Bridges were a little icy. My drive home from skiing yesterday was bad though. f957f332c82ebe9458524a547ba602a3_afd67603dc69e48145794230e600eb749aa39610.jpg
Had semi blue skies for the trip up and back down though. f1b2d97c9a61906fa681e9943ed62a50_2078efdeb4bccedad5f09ef1f5ef70200a655691.jpg

Yeah I think they need more time on the road first. Also lack of top adjustment to me seems like a step down from SPC. And of course there is the Internet band wagon that claims SPC is junk. I have yet to have an issue and SPC redesigned theirs to fix the flaw. So for the price they want like Odomandr said, you could do better.

Update.... Fixed pinched wires, replaced fuse that Jace told me about and put new light on. But I still can't figure out why my driver side brake light is a constant bright red. It's like someone is constantly pressing on the brake. The light even gets hot.
So I threw in the towel and called the insurance company to get someone to look at the wiring. Most likely Mountain States Toyota. They have helped me out in the past. Once I figure out what's going on with the light i'll share what the issue was.
