Just got some outside mirrors from RockAuto from 01-04 Tacomas. Bigger than my stock 1999 mirrors, and have the 'foldaway' feature. They are aftermarket, so I was concerned about the quality, but they seem pretty well built so far.

Wootwoot......first of the king shocks are on....

Revalved the king bypasses today and then cycled it...it moves freely...so hydraulic bumps and front shocks tomorrow and valve them.
Drops below body line and completely stuffs into wheel well...

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Well I did an interesting mod.... parked it. Leaving it alone for a month and giving my neglected 98 Nissan Maxima some much needed attention. Sad thing is, my Maxima with a 3.0L V6 and auto tranny gets better gas mileage than the 2.7L with a 5-speed. At a faster speed I might add.

Either way I'm sure I'll have lower overall spending this month. Back to modding in April when it is consistently sunny here.

Last weekend I removed my cracked exhaust manifold and replaced it with the 01-04 mini header. Overall it went pretty well and I'm very happy that the exhaust leak is finally gone. :)

Did you notice any difference in how it drove? I just got an 04 manifold too, havent installed it yet though. Yours looks a bit more silvery that mine, did you paint it??

Nothing major, but it does seem to drive better (which it could be all in my head haha). It's mainly nice not hearing the pitter patter of the exhaust leak anymore! Yeah I painted it with VHT FlameProof ceramic coating and cured it per the instructions on the can.

hope you got an alignment or plan on one soon... or you'll wear in those tires the same way and never get them to wear properly $.02

    Haha don't remind me
Just nitto grapplers and these, stuck with this and I'm happy.
Oh I know, tomorrow morning getting it serviced and alignment. Honestly didn't feel it was worth it aligning the old shits with how much tread it had left.
I've been driving with a crooked steering wheel for a while my friend.

You got some balls running h3 wheels. Bore is only 100.3 so presumably you're running floating or lug centric spacers instead of hubcentric (since toyota hubs are 106)

So in plain English does that mean he's putting all the stress on the wheel studs instead of the hubs? Haha

I am almost positive that I read he had them bored out to match the Toyota hub size.

Nope. Bored out to 106mm, everything is hub centric.
