Seabsss. Nice. I seen some knives from them before. Great looking blade.

Great axis deer. I heard those things are the best venison.

Amen. I chickened out since I'm still learning how to sharpen a scandi.

Mud is so dulling on steel.

Going to be making a Kydex sheath for this in the next few days so I can put a Tek Lok on it and carry it scout style or on my pack strap. Will also have a ferro rod attached. Stay tuned.

Hey Adam what's the story on the damascus? I don't search damascus out, but I don't think I've ever seen damascus layers listed in a range like that, and it's always a multiple of 2. Is it a medium production damascus, maybe? Curious why the layer depth is unknown outside of a large range like that, makes no sense to me.

My ESEE 4 I just got today. Damn this thing is sweet! Need to make a Kydex sheath for it. Never worked with Kydex before so it should be a good learning experience.

Nah they come with a sheath. Not sure what it is. Maybe G10? I'm just not a big fan of it. And it can only be used in the vertical position. It also came with some nylon thing I'm assuming is supposed to be a sheath but haven't exactly figured out how it works.

Trying to think of what that material is called, not G10 IIRC. I had an ESEE 3 with the same scale color and I really didn't like it. Gave it to a buddy in FL and he likes it a lot, so worked out. Probably would have been happier win a 4.

No. Maybe some type of polymer? The specs page on BladeHQ just says "hard plastic" it's definitely not Kydex. You can buy a Kydex sheath from the ESEE website though.
