halo wiring question

I'm planning on getting the mini H1 projectors and just go with the mini gattling gun shrouds because they look just fine for me. I want to put amber leds in front of them but how are you guys running the wires so they dont show in the headlight housing? I want to make sure I can get them to look pretty before buying!

You do the same thing. I do retrofits for members.

 

Actually in the middle of it right now. Weather isn't wanting me to paint but I'm making it work. Cold and rainy is not a good combo for retrofits

Hey man. How much would you charge if I sent you a pair of my headlights and my projectors? I was in a hurry doing mine and now the shrouds came off on the inside of my headlights. I decided to order new housings for them but not sure if I feel like going through that process again. you got some time?

 

The shrouds should screw onto projector with 4 small screws

 

I got the orbit shrouds on the ds2. I'm gonna try and do it again with some JB weld until my headlight housings come in

You gonna put them back together or you want me to? Why did you by new housings

 

I painted these black and after putting them back together you can really tell how bad they've yellowed and so far a couple headlight restoration products haven't worked for them so I got new ones and new corners that give it a little better look to it. Those will take a while to come in and since I have some free time this weekend I'm going to fix the ones that I have on there right now. I'll see how that goes and see if I'm gonna want you to do it for the new headlights when they come in

 

Did you use your stock housings the first time you did it

What size halos? 60mm-80mm looking to do my own build and don't want to order the wrong size halos.

 

Logan what are you securing the halos to the shrouds with? I've seen the fishing line method but is there epoxy of some sort (specific brand) as well?

 

Yes I use to use jb weld but now I'm using epoxy. I believe I've been using the permatex

 

I just got mine remounted and used picture hanging wire (if you can find any of the damn stuff). Can't even tell it's there. Just get some needle nose pliers and twist it up behind it. I don't trust myself with glue too much for some reason. Haven't had time to wire the halos up yet but I'll try to get pics up when I can.
