Ate a little caesar pizza today. Garbage. It was the Deep dish bacon. Tasted horrible and was expensive. Couldn't even get the wings right.

In my defense. I cook 3-4 times daily for the 6 of us including deserts and lunch for myself while everyone is at school or wife is working. Cooking from scratch.

Today was a snow day for the kids. Half the neighbor hood children were at our house drinking Hot Chocolate Ovaltine. Due to food restrictions, religious, my planned dinner wouldn't work out for the rest of them.

Thats where the pizza and wings came in. Knew where there was a spot on the way to pickup my wife. Ate one wing, and a corner of one of the Bacon deep dish.

Was not impressed so I fried up some korean style spicy pork belly with fried kimchi and white sticky rice.

That was the second time this month I have had wings/ eaten out. Normally we eat home cooked meals on the daily. The other time I ate out was at a meet earlier in the month.

our food choices are spot on. Occasionally we treat the kids to 'junk food' like pizza from take out places. The kids love to cook pizza at the house with me too.

I need to start cooking at home more. My wife is a picky little thing though... and she's not a good cook

Most meals are 30min or less. Thats prep and all. Rice takes an hour, but its something to set and forget.

You go and eat at a restaurant, like what you ate? Ask the waiter/waitress if you can talk to the cook/ chef. I worked in the food industry as a cook/chef LONG ago. Have been cooking as far back as I can remember with my family 4-5 are some of my earliest memories. Anyways, We as cooks/ chefs LOVE it when we get direct feedback from the customers and want to know our recipes.

Best way to capture the recipe is to set the voice recorder on your smart phone on and take the conversation home with you.

Shop at some of the ethnic stores if you want some amazing cuts of meats, fish and veggies at a great price.

You'd be amazed how picky this woman is. Yet, she's ok using ketchup in every recipe she has, I swear.

And she hates chicken. WTF! That is the main thing I like to eat.

What about bacon? Perhaps you could get some cooking tips from Ryan.

I cook what I like. Eventually her pallet will adjust to what you like. Something will smell awesome to her and after that Hooked. Have friends and family that HATE certain foods, mushrooms for one. They tried a couple recipes that I made for them when they were over a few times. They still HATE them but will only eat them if they are made in the same manner.

Chicken is easy to make people like. It will take on the flavor of most foods and seasonings you use to cook it with.
