I completely agree. I didn't want to buy a Redline kit and couldn't find enough info so I went with the 4runner hood strut pressure rating and it was a little high. I found that one 100 psi strut is more than enough to hold the hood up. When ever I need to replace them I will be doing two 60psi struts.

Ordered the Redline/installed and with the dual battery should of done some research on a single strut as the passenger is hindered by the 2nd battery.
How is the snorkel holding up? Still happy with the project?

To be honest, puddle lamps aren't a big deal to me. Heck, this is the first vehicle I've had that has a fully functional cruise control. Now I just need to start saving for wheels and tires. These stock steel wheels look terrible.

yur right. The STOCK HEATED MIRRORS were the major deciding factor. I didn't have to track down 4 different parts. The one mirror already had it all in there. The Puddles were a plus.

I could see that. Heated mirrors almost weren't even on the install list since I live in SoCal. Would have been easier to go the T4R route, but this way gave me something to do outside of school work.

Swapped my OME 885's for 886's and got an alignment. Getting ready to install my winch once it gets above 9deg....

I brought it to a local alignment shop who just happen to have a guy who's into off roading. He does excellent work with lift kits and other aftermarket work. Plus, I don't have a spring compressor to do it myself... For $249 including the alignment, I'm not complaining one bit!

Are you near Albany? I am looking for a shop to install my lift after I order it next week.
