Just got her back, and so far, so good. She drives straight and there isn't any weirdness so far!

Wow, dropped off mid-morning Tuesday, went in this morning (Thursday) to try to see it in pieces and it was *done*! So let's call it a day and a half like the techs said?!?!

Almost 310,000km now, and I've got a truck that should last for another 300k!

I do, without a doubt, recommend Orleans Toyota if you're anywhere near Ottawa and need this job done. The guys working on these frame swaps are top notch.

This is strange to hear. I would try to get a second dealer's opinion. There is no reason they should be turning you away. If the metal is delaminating / flaking and there are holes then you should be eligible for the replacement.

Did they coat it or just say "it's OK" and tell you to leave?

Dropped off my 05 Taco yesterday (called for appointment and had to wait 2 weeks to even drop it off). So I was told I should hear from them by the end of the day as to if they determined a replacement or spray. I basically needed to know how long I will be without a truck, as i need it for work and to get to work (since we are getting snow about once a week). I was given a loaner (Nissan Cube!!!) which is a horrible vehicle.
I tried to call last night and twice today and the operator has put me into voice mail each time. I left a message last time asking to return my call to let me know how long I can expect to be without a truck. I am still waiting for the return call.
Anyone else experienced this? My truck is at Milham Toyota in Easton, Pa.
I definitely have holes in the frame and noisy body mounts.
Anyone have any advice or know of a better dealership in northeast Pennsylvania?
    Thanks!

so i took mine in for an oil change last night. asked about the seat belt recall. to my surprise he mentioned the frame. i didn't think he would since it's not technically a recall. so i ended up in rental car (offered a highlander, i opted for a camry) for the night to give them a chance to check everything out. now we wait for the 4pm phone call. i'm guessing they will go the coating route, but i'm hoping for a frame. if it's coating, i'm holding off until it warms up and there isn't salt and shit on the roads.

I've read that they replace coolant and brake fluid as well. Any chance that info is legit?

Unless they recover the fluid and reuse it, I would think its included.

I dropped my truck off at dealer on 12/01/14 and it was deemed unsafe and the put me in a rental car. For the first three months they said they were working on Octobers list. When I went in to sign the rental papers for March I asked for an update they did not have any idea when frames are coming. I was told they have 16 trucks waiting for frames and the next closest dealer has around 30 trucks waiting for frames. Starting month 4 in two days!

Holy sh$t! That long and I worry about the damn fuel going bad in the tank. That's bullshit man and I'm in the same boat. Going by the dealership today and it's only been 3 weeks for me.

I was told by the Toyota tech the only items being replaced were the frame & the bolts that hold it to the body.
    What gives?
