I feel ya. I sold my Suzuki a couple of weeks ago.

    :(

But, I put the $$ I got from the sale towards this thing, so that helps a bit. :D

Edit- Plus, I've still got my li'l 250 for when I'm struck by the urge for 2 wheel travel.

That an M50? I'm actually looking at getting one of those this summer... Why'd you sell it?

It was an M50, yeah. Great bike, super comfortable to ride, very stable, good acceleration, and super low maintenance between the fuel injection and the shaft drive.
Sold it to put the $$ towards a classic car/truck. The GF used to ride with me, and we'd ride down to car shows, the beach, etc together. But she doesn't like to ride anymore, so I sold the more valuable bike (the M50) and kept the cheap one (the Ninja). The Ninja's more maintenance, but it's cheaper to keep. $100 a year for insurance, tires are under $200 per set, 70MPG, and it only takes 2 quarts of oil.
So this way we've got the antique for car shows, beach trips, cruise nights, etc. And I've still got a bike for commuting to work on nice days, joy rides, and whatnot.

That makes sense. Yeah, I hear A LOT of good things about the Boulevards. My GF likes motorcycles so i plan to be 2up most of the time... Good to hear it's a comfortable ride. Thanks for sharing!

    Sure thing.
If you're going to ride 2-up on the M50 you'll want to dial up the rear suspension a little bit from the factory settings. I found that the factory setting was great for riding solo, but it was a little soft for two people plus gear in the saddlebags.

There's quite a few nice bikes on here! Props to you all.

Here's my sinkhole for time, an '82 XR500R that is presently at my friend's place in SoCal. I'd like to have it immaculate one day

..but for now its just a rusty ol' sweetheart of a thumper!:D

    Ooooooh:goingcrazy:

That supermoto is nasty! KTM makes the best offroaders hands down, would be my choice if/when I had the cash to throw down.

Be sure to give us some shots/vids of your rides brother!

Nice. I sat one of those at a bike show last summer; it's really well-balanced for such a huge bike. Didn't feel top-heavy at all. How's your fuel mileage?

Not this guy. Too much sand & salt on the roads around here for me to start riding until we've had a good heavy rainstorm to wash them off. Besides the obvious loss-of-traction-in-a-corner issues associated with sand, I just don't like media blasting my bike every time I ride, haha!

    ......

    AND?!?!
