I slid very slowly into the back of a Hyundai at a stop light. About three miles and hour slow.

I'm in Catskill. The shop I use is CA Albright's in Ravena (518-756-3128). Ask for Don. He's awesome. Tell him Matt with the '13 Tacoma referred you. He'll take good care of you. Very reasonably priced too. Let me know how you make out!

    That method works great.

Alignment for me at the dealer was $85, so $160 for the front install? Not a bad price, I guess. Way more than it's worth though, IMO.

I totally get wanting to pay someone though.. :D

I didn't have tools or a clue on how to install my 5100s, and no local shops wanted to touch customer supplied parts so I ended up getting help from my buddy who knows what he's doing and paid him $80 or so for his time. Helped me, helped him, all good. When it came to do my rear, same story, nobody wanted to touch it except the dealer who was $125/hour and said it was a 4 hour job or something.
Took $125 and bought a tool set, jack stands, torque wrench and big sockets I needed and did it myself with the help of Chris4x4s AAL install write-up. Took an afternoon doing it by myself, my ass was puckered the whole time watching my axle go in every possible direction but when it was all buttoned back up, it was done for free and done well, and I finally worked on my own stuff.

Once it was all said and done, I was glad I didn't pay someone else to do it. With the DIYs that are on here and elsewhere, it makes it a lot easier even with limited tools like I have.

Getting the nerve up to loosen the first bolt was the hard part.

That's what I'm hoping for, thanks for the info. :D I've got a local over-lander nearby that owns a shop. I'm hoping he'll let me stick around to watch and learn. Lots of people say it's easy enough to do on your own, but I need to see it done first before I attempt by myself. It's also my DD so I can't afford to be down for multiple days if I cant figure something out.

Ok, got a question for all you ladies and gents. On my way into work today (Chicago area) it was -10 without windchill, my scan gauge said my MAF temp was -4.0. I have been noticing that my truck is taking a lil longer to warm up in the morning even though my truck is parked inside. I did clean my throttle body and MAF sensor in the fall, dooes that have anything to do with why my temp is so low on my MAF or is it just that flipping cold out?

Unfortunately it won't work on your year.

    1) Turn the Car 'ON', but do not start the engine (Leave your foot off the brake). Cycle your trip reset knob until it reads ODO. Turn the ignition back off. Wait a couple of seconds.
    2) Make sure seat belt is not fastened
    3) Turn the ignition back on, do not start the car (Leave you foot off the break) As soon as you see everything light up, press and hold the trip reset knob and do a long 12 second count.
    4) Keep your finger on the trip reset knob. Fasten your seat belt, as soon as you fasten your seat belt, you should see the ODO display go from XXXX miles to "b-on". At that time take your finger off the trip reset knob and press it again. It should cycle to "b-off". You should be all set and turn the ignition off and unfasten your seat belt.
