    You can mount it in the bed so it can get wet/rained on. That's the real benefit of it. As for abuse, it will still take the same amount of shock abuse the normal amp takes.

    The cool thing about the is the FJ rims spacing puts them out farther so you don't need spacers for clearing UCA's. I powder coated mine. Great Strong lightweight rims!
