I have a 2003 Tacoma and the cruise control is bumping off suddenly when hitting smaller bumps in the freeway surfaces. would anyone know how to fix this? Seems like it wouldn't be all that difficult to do....just don't know where to start. Checked the web for diagrams, etc. no luck. I don't have a repair manual for this truck. I've had this happen on my wife's Honda Odyssee. It was just loose. So.......help please.:)

My wife had a 4runner that had the same problem once. check the clutch switch it may not be set right. If you push in the clutch the cruise should kick off and if the switch is set to sensitive and the pedel has too much slack it will bump the switch and kick off the cruise. This is only on the standard tranny of course.

Gray wire, Some lights in the bed area, and some character marks throughout.
that will do it for sure, also check the brake pedal for the same. I would say it was one of these before anything else.
