Prerunner to 4x4 conversion parts list

What parts do I need to convert a 2001 prerunner to 4wd?

 

right off the top of my head I would say mainly the whole drivetrain and there are cooling issues that need bigger radiator and add on coolers for oil and power steering.

to do this your better off buying a donor vehicle with rotten frame or blown engine to swap out everything on

 

Its easy.....sell your prerunner and get a 4wd.
To sas is cheaper than to convert your stock prerunner to a stock 4wd.
The reasons behind this formula is for you to buy everything the 4wd have that your prerunner dont. But if you do a sas then cut everything under your frames off and weld in new ones.
All you have to do is go to trailgears and buy their complete assembly front axle and drop it in along with a manual 5 speed transmission and a new m/t ecu with a front drive shaft and a couple of shifters and you on your way to a new 4wd.
Its not an easy or cheap conversions but it can be done. Good luck
