strange sound. some opinions please.

ok i have 18k miles on the truck. when i make left turns i get a rub rub kinda sound in the front driver side wheel. u can feel it as well. hard to explain. almost feels like a bearing maybe but i think that would be to premature. any other ideas guys?

 

should be under warranty, let it be there problem.

Brakes rubbing as rotors flex, bad bearing, tire with a defect, could be a number of things. Chris' question is valid...is there rubber where it don't belong in the wheelwell?

 

I heard that sound once...next thing ya know...

see if your intake is secured along your fender. I had a similar sound from the front passenger side and could also feel it. I initially thought it was a problem with the gears, but apparently the intake was rapidly oscillating on the fender making a rubbing/grinding noise

 

long shot but these vehicles have pretty loose brake pads - mine rattle going over bumps - and BTW more on the driver side. You can test this theory: while recreating the sound, very gently apply the brake pedal (just enough to barely engage the brake and not enough to slow you down). If the sound changes, it may be the brake pad. If the sound does not change, it is not the pad.
