Slow and steady. And a good spotter. If you just bash your way through you'd going to bend the 1\4" too. Also some of the designs on skids are weak. I no mine could use some reenforcement. Large flat areas are just waiting to be bent.

My summer is starting to book up. You might want to check other threads and find weekends that don't have big events and go from there. We don't want to be thee with 5o+ rigs.

John if you're planning it, pick a few dates that work for you, run a poll in the thread, get feedback and narrow it down. Seems to work pretty well in my experience... At this point we'd probably be into April/early May? Depends on if you do that slick rock trip too.

June would be better for me. I'll have moab and slickrock done and will have my relentless armor by then. Hopefully.

Had a good time in the snow. We made it pretty far up the trail to the palasades. Will have to hit this up when the snow melts. Talked to a few locals that got stuck in front of us. Sounds like a cool trail in the summer.

Looks like fun, I didn't realize they would have that much snow up there.

You posted earlier about going to Uncle Toms. Those photos don't look like Wentworth Springs road. How far up did you go, and on what roads?

It was pretty dry ay uncle toms. Their was a small amount at the cabin, but the roads were dry. We started our way down to loon lake, we wanted to go mess around on the rubicon. Made a wrong turn and ended up following some old timers. Great group of guys. We went as far as we could before the bronco got stuck

It was still Wentworth springs rd just the upper leg. I think its the old first leg of the rubbicon. The local guys said that that rd we turned onto went all the way up to 8800' so you can imagine it was getting deeper as we went.

Did you guys go to Loon and drive around the left side or did you go straight on the paved road when the turnoff to Loon went right?
