I was about to ask if you were joking, then I saw you live in tx. I changed my rear diff oil and spark plugs today, high of 28f today:D

I don't have numbers to back it up but I definitely feel like this is helping power, at least a little. There's a long hill on my way home from work that I generally have to hit the gas pretty hard to maintain speed. The last few times I've gone up it since installing it's seems to be easier. Maybe I'm just trying to justify spending money?

In case anyone was interested to know, I just installed the Intake Manifold Spacer w/ this and it clears the hood. At least I don't see any obvious signs of contact. (I put double sided tape sticky side up on the MAF and closed the hood. It did not stick to the hood so I'm assuming it clears fine.)

It definitely does help on the hills, I noticed that it didn't have to jump to 5k rpms as much and only jumped to the 3k mark on SOME hills. It maintains the power very well. That's with 265s and no regearing so I know it worked for me.

I did mine in 20℉ weather Friday and windy. Took all of 5 mins to install! Just make sure to use the sheet metal screws and not the machine screws they supply with them.

Correct, the machine screws are for intakes with a brass insert that have the matching machine threads.

I received 2 in the mail yesterday; one for my Tacoma, and one for my wife's Highlander. I have 5 years worth of detailed fuel mileage tracking, so lots of data history to compare with, and will update this thread with my experience.

Thank you to Quirt and Jon, both great guys to work with. I've been a fan of Crawford's work since becoming a Subaru enthusiast well over 10 years ago; definitely a highly reputable name IMO.

Chiming back in to confirm the maf spacer DOES WORK with TRD gen 1 intakes and AFE stage 2 intakes. All you need to do is go buy M4 x .7 pitch x 35mm long bolts at somewhere like ace hadware, where I found mine. $1.20 a piece and they're stainless steel. No check engine lights or weird signs. Seems to be working well. Truck runs smoother I think, could be a placebo. Who knows, but I'm happy with it. Starting a new tank of gas today so I'll keep track of the mpg.

Edit: sorry for the sideways picture, posted off my phone.

Thanks for the info! So are the threads recessed in the intakes so the supplied bolts / screws are not long enough or is the pitch different?

Pretty much, with the TRD / AFE intakes they have these little white plastic spacers that go under the maf sensor so the screws just weren't long enough to make it through those and the maf spacer together. But the 35mm ones work perfectly. Pitch was the same.
