    I thinking of installing a Magnaflo 5✖️11✖️22
On my 2.7L, I am not looking for a loud sound
Maybe for a bit louder than stock.

Here are my ESUSE LED fogs. I like them a lot and they are way better then the the yellowish stock ones.

Wiring it like that - does the switch itself light up when the fogs are off ?
    Thanks ,

Changed the oil. I tried to hit the zerks on the drive shaft but the grease wouldn't cooperate in the 15°F weather. The grease gun is stored in the unheated garage.

The general illumination? Yes, the fog light icon is illuminated anytime you have your headlights on (same as other backlit switches).

The status LED? That's a bit more complex of an answer.

Below are the scenarios where the the states don't match (e.g.: status light doesn't match actual fog lights):

If you have not done the anytime fog light mod and the switch is depressed:

If the parking lights are on (but no headlights), the status LED lights up but fog lights are off (fogs disabled by ECU).
If the high beams are on, the status LED lights up but fog lights are off (fogs disabled by ECU).

If you have performed the anytime fog light mod and the switch is depressed:

If the headlights / parking lights are off, the status LED does not illuminate but fog lights are on (status LED powered by illumination circuit; no illumination, no status LED).

The best option would be to run a wire from the fogs all the way back to the switch and use it to power the status LED on pins 5 / 6. However, that's way more involved than jumping 2 wires like I did. I'm OK with it being slightly misaligned, I don't have the anytime fog light mod, so I'm never in a state where they are on, but the status LED is off.

Finally put my front 5100's in today set at .85. They seem a little firmer than I recall the HD's being in my first 05 but I like the way it rides. Should be about perfect with a set of 4 leaf springs out back which I should eventually get as part of the recall. I do need an alignment now though. Kicked the toe in a good 1/4" so it tracks a little odd. I will say this job is WAY easier on a 50k mile truck than a 150k mile truck. Really reminded me why I hate road salt and the crap hardware Toyota uses. I spent way too much time dealing with stubborn bolts. Granted it would have gone faster if my air tools hadn't kept freezing but it took me less than 2 hours to put front Bilstein HD's in my first 05. I just spent about 5 putting these in.
