What is the tallest tire I can fit stock trd off-road suspension? I like the tall and skinny look. Is a 255/85-16 going to rub. This would be an aggressive tread as well. Traded in my 14 which I only had for two weeks on a new 15 and I don't care for the stock rugged trail bfg's.

14 had an issue the dealer could not pin point and Im not into having a problem vehicle. I saw this as being a service nightmare since it had been wrecked I didn't want headaches.

255 might likely rub under compression when turned. On the street they will be fine. If thats the size u want u should just go for it.

I have the Hankook Dynopro's at 255/75R17, but I also have about a 1 1/4" lift with the OME 883's. And while I have no rubbing (had to remove those front flaps) on road or light bumpage, even while cranked, it's still really close.

I don't think you'd ever fit those on stock.

While true, I feel like my 255's definitely have the 'skinny' look. I don't think I'd want to go any skinnier. Actually they're just about perfect imo.

There is a giant thread on 255's in the wheels and tires section, read it all, ppl have done this with no lift. 235's are ok, i ran them for a while and wished for bigger tires when I had them.
