Thanks! That's good to know, I just looked up the lift prices that's about the the top of the range of money I'll be willing to spend. I plan to put a good amount of money into the lift and truck, and definitely want a 6" or 7" lift.

Wrenched on a 2002 4Runner from the East Coast = $hit ton of rust.

Rear shocks disintegrate when we attempted to remove from the axle post.
Sawsall to the rescue.... kinda... cutoff wheel to rescue....well... yeah..

Fronts = same issue as before; top three nuts were just spinning.
    Sawsall to the rescue!

No time for the diff drop...

    Question for all:
This 4R had a button for "center diff lock" but there didn't seem to be a e-locker style actuator on the rear diff or underneath. What gives???
    Vehicle is a 2002 4Runner SE V6 Auto with 4WD button

It's full time 4wd. No hubs. The CDL locks the transfer case. My land cruiser has the same button.

haha its always the damn budget!

So...about running power to the rear bumper for a winch...2/0 wire sound good enough? Also, how about grounding to the frame back there? I've been reading stuff for and against it...

have any of you guys done any riding in umpqua national forest?

just looking for light unpaved trail type of deal. basically just something cool off the beaten path if any of you have experience down there.

i am driving down to napa valley in april, and was planning on driving by crater lake area and figured I should stop at anything else worthwhile.

if your heading towards crater its worth stopping and seeing newberry crater on the way as well as the surrounding buttes, lava butte is popular. Down near the Rouge there are tons of things to do along the river, especially rafting.

At least with WARN, they want you to ground at the battery. However, from what I know of electrical, you want ground wires to be as short as you can get them... :notsure:

In other news, has anyone been reading about ADS suspension? I wasn't able to get price quotes from them today, but they are my main competition against a set of King.
