I have, I had a bad experience with them 4 years ago and haven't been back. Your mileage may vary, though, I know they've cycled a few techs in and out since.

I took a 4 runner to them for a pre purchase inspection and the service manager heavily pushed me towards buying it. I don't know if they even did the PPI or not but it turns out it was running on 5 cylinders and had major leaks hidden by the PO which they should have discovered upon putting it up on a lift. The motor blew up when the driver side cam seized up 2000 miles later and I sold the truck for scrap

Oh man! Yeah that's pretty shady to me. I'll check out Metric first, just to be on the safe side. Thanks man. Really didn't want to go to the dealership.

Yah I don't see myself getting a dirtbike anytime soon. maybe when I'm older and less likely to kill myself doing something crazy.

Since I got a mountain bike my mentality has shifted to using the truck as a base camp and transport to the trail head....then riding trails on the bike. Much less expensive to fix the bike and I don't need a trailer for it either :p

My bed rack/RTT won't allow a dirt bike. I could transport it on one of the hitch thingies I guess.

Dang... was going to go up with my daughter tomorrow to get a killer day in before business travel, but it's not going to happen.

    Enjoy. Should be great.

You're welcome to join. It's back country but it's an easy trek in. The spot isn't too far from Boulder. I drive up canyon Rd 72 to pick my buddy up. Just my buddy myself and one of my dogs are going.

Well sounds like I will be heading back to Denver Wednesday to get my Tacoma finally! What I am being told is... they replaced 3 sensors that regulate the air to fuel ratio and all misfiring has stopped.. Not sure what exact sensors they replaced but that's what I am being told. So time will tell I suppose and hoping for the best! Can't wait to get her back!

Yeah I have that problem too. I really like the RTT's but with motorcycles in the bed it's just not feasible. I did the next best thing and bought a giant tent and air mattress that feels like you're sleeping on a bed. Feels like cheating though.

I save the camping pad, and small tent stuff for when I'm traveling on my adventure moto.

Alternatively I was looking at a little harbor freight folding trailer for the bikes, but the ground clearance is kind of sucky.

Who was the tech? The tech who installed my SC had done 12 prior installs including a SC on his own Tundra. I talked to him for a bit and he really seemed to know what he is doing and also seems passionate about what he does.

*I'm ASSuming this was at Mountain States.

I kinda had the same thing happen. Had a dual sport that turned into only a dirt bike which turned into a ktm sx-f and riding mx. It went better than I though it would after an 8 year or so break...

except for a few months ago when the wind was so bad it blew my bike out from under me on a double. :anonymous:

height adjustable BOSS kit with 600lb springs!! my kit now isn't height adjustable :( so it was time to upgrade

yeah i cleared room in my garage, figured id just crank the heater and go to town, I'm gonna match my current setup height so i won't throw the alignment that far outa whack.

It's amazing how fast things escalate. I'm trying to work a dual sport in there but I think the wife might notice....
I have almost had that happen! Windy days like that suck!

I have a 4runner so a trailer is the only way I can haul bikes, especially since we just put a camper shell on the wife's tacoma. My buddy has a versahauler hitch mounted motorcycle carrier, I might try to requisition it from him in the future....

I'd love to build up another expo trailer....then my bed would be free and I wouldn't have to break down the RTT every day

Built this one a few years ago from scratch
    _DSC8959_zps54b06ae4_73df4fe6428f930d4d591610171f595d052920cb.jpg

If I were to do it over again I would start with a military or bantam style trailer
