How about you consider giving your dog the life she deserves and spay her. If you want another dog, adopt one that needs a home. And in the meantime educate yourself on the tens of thousands of dogs, pure bred and other, that are killed in shelters each year in Az.

Beware? Really Juan? Are you claiming ignorance too? There is NO reason to be breeding in this day and age. Ypu of all people should know. And I know damn well I'm not the only rescuer/advocate in this Forum.

 

not in a bad way. im not one to let people know my opinons on things such as this.

i have rescue dogs that are all neutered.

we also try to say this about some humans but yet they still reproduce. its not something a single person or group can control. its going to happen either way.

 

My goal in life isn't to be liked or to be popular Juan, it is to educate. I am a voice for the voiceless. There is an astounding number of people who are just truly ignorant to the truth. They will never learn if they aren't told. Those people need to walk through a county shelter and see the hundreds of loving and otherwise adoptable dogs with I ly days or hours to live. They need to know about the medical risks and concerns associated with breeding and if that doesn't work, the financial requirememnts of breeding usually scares them straight.

This is an automotive site. We sell used parts, appliances and tools. This is not the right place to make yourself a quick buck off of another life. Read the CoC

You paint with a broad brush, my friend, and in a few breaths contradict yourself as a responsible dog owner.

Ask yourself, "If all other's dogs were neutered as you wish them to be, would there be any more dogs for you to save, and for others to enjoy as a companion, friend, family, hunting, or working dog?"

I say that, like you, not everyone is irresponsible, and likewise, not all dogs should be arbitrarily neutered.

Just a thought.

 

Quick to judge? I just know "the business" and that no one who supports rescue can simultaneously support breeding. I don't condone breeding at any caliber but I guarantee there is no legitimate and righteous breeders that would advertise on a random Internet site. That's called backyard breeding. You think you're bettering the vreed? What pre partum testing have you done on your bitch? Is she FCP, IAP, OCD neg? How about OFA cert?

 

Breeders over price their dogs. A dog should not cost $1500.

 

I'm with Dani 100%. Backyard breeding is total bullshit.
