Only if you have a son and his only education is that of pig anatomy, spiceology, bbqsauceology, and smokeology. Then he moves to wyoming to create the worlds best BBQ.

Aight, so I figured I'd get some help here:

    I'm 20 y/o, 5'10" about and 175lbs.

I have fat on my stomach I wanna get rid of mainly.

I haven't really changed my diet drastically and haven't taken any supplements, only have been lifting weights and gained 10 lbs of mass. I do no cardio.

Suggestions for me to lose some fat and maybe get more toned? A member emailed me a diet a while back, but I'm looking for more opinions and also wanted to hear about what kinds of cardio to do other than what I plan to do (treadmill/elliptical).

So diet for fat loss tips and the muscle gain/tone I guess.

    Thanks!

Well its been like 8 months, but I don't hit the gym enough I think. I need to get a better diet. What do you all think of meal replacements or something else so I can cut back on the sugars and saturated fats?

And should I have protein or another recovery supplement post workout?

I just posted a novel a few pages back explaining the in's and out's of dieting and training, but I'm too lazy to go find it. It should only be a couple pages back, if you're interested

    EDIT: here it is

Meal replacements suck, in my opinion. There are plenty of foods out there that aren't high in sugar and fat. Supplements are simply there to SUPPLEMENT your actual diet.

As far as a recovery supplement, it's not necessary, but I do take one simply because I don't have time to eat 6 meals a day. I use Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard whey after my workouts.

The only cardio I can make myself do is HIIT-type stuff. Treadmills and all that shit are just too boring

I've got the Charge HR and love it; it's one step down from the Surge. The reason I didn't get the Surge is because the only things it does that the Charge HR doesn't are show who is calling you (mine only does texts), tracks GPS (I don't run outdoors), and you can control your music from it, which didn't appeal to me. The Charge HR has all the essentials (time, heart rate, calories burned, sleep pattern, steps, miles, etc.) and it's $100 cheaper. I love it.

The only reason I'd get a Surge were if I did a lot of outdoor running.
