Nope. I'm not super worried about it, and it is far better than nothing. I doubt I will tap it hard enough to cause problems.

Well... Yeah... Haven't got around to cleaning that bit up yet but I freaking love the bumper. Build quality is excellent.

for transmission, maybe get a calibrated pan so that you can see how much fluid comes out so you know roughly how much to add. If the truck was just driven let the fluid cool down for a more accurate measure.

I plan to do a drain and fill on my transmission that way this weekend.

 

installed a super cheap backup cam. I wired this to remain on at all times rather than just reverse. The cameras are about 10 bucks and the 4.5" lcd screen was about 20 bucks on ebay. not a bad deal but we'll see how it holds up. I also installed a dash dvr cam that was 35 bucks and it holding up great with pretty good video quality. Might put a few more cameras under the rig for wheeling angles since they are cheap enough. Got the wireless version but just need to figure out a method to switch the view for different cameras on the lcd screen.

Here is a stock shackle next to mine. Tape measure was locked up and key was in the house... But I'll measure when I get home for sure!

well, all the crap on my truck is bought, I just do most the work of installing it myself or with the help of friends...so is that considered bought not built?? I thought that saying went for buying a rig already built

Now do the blinker relocation mod. I got a set of black housing turn signals just laying around. They would go great with your setup. Already sealed up in the back too

 

I feel its more of buying a rig already built I was just giving John a hard time, I'd love to have a bumper like that haha

 

Does it matter? I feel in the truck world we all do little things to the truck to make it our own, and just installing things makes it a build even if we can't weld our spindle gussets and what not.

I know in the motorcycle world no one considers it a build if you are just throwing all aftermarket shit on but installing things on motorcycles is 10x easier than installing all your new suspension components.
