Like I stated earlier, doesn't look near as bad as I would have originally thought. Do agree that sliders will give more protection. My wife has these on her Camry and they provide some protection. Problem is they get chipped from dings and no matter how much touch up you do it does not look original. Sliders can be rattle canned.

Thread revival. Im interested in these. I just had a door ding repaired yesterday. How do these attach to the truck? Glue? Are they fully removable incase i want to take them off? i have sliders, but wouldnt mind having double protection. They look cool as well. Whats the best place to get these? I have a silver truck as well.

I'll be using angled rock sliders to guard against that.

thanks guys. I ordered from zigs, same as the OP. i do have sliders. But they only guard against certain doors, and if the offending vehicle sits higher than yours it will still hit. I figure with sliders and the moldings my truck will be pretty safe.

Thanks I hid a dent behind one of them. Go on very easy and they do come off with a little work on a nice hot day and some goo gone.

The guy does great and fast work. I have done my last two Tacoma's and my last bright red Jetta. Perfect matches

Got mine off of ebay from zigsauto. Dawn side molding. Held on with 3M tape. Been on there for 2 years. Still stuck. Perfect color match. Very pleased.....

Quick question on Amazon it says 2005 to 2013 on these. The color is correct 040 super white. Any change in the bodies from 2013 to 2014?? I can save 30.00 bucks on Amazon versus buying from the link in this thread.

    Thanks.

There doesn't appear to be a bit of physical difference from 2013 to 2015 body-wise (after seeing my buddy's 2015 Taco) ...should work with any slight variation. If you do order from Amazon, you can always return them easily. Color match would be my only concern. Check the paint code.

BTW, I got a nice little door ding on the molding now. Nice to see the paint removed on the molding and NOT a dent in the panel. They work.

slick1 thank-you, I went ahead and ordered them. Paint code 040 super white.

Sorry about your ding. I was washing mine yesterday before I put running lights on my bull bar and found a good size ding in the tailgate. Probably done last month when some ahole broke my tail light out at Home Depot.
