Didn't have to be totally building related....could have been anything structural..

Monte is the winner this week.
That church looks amazing. The colours in the stained glass behind the alter are wicked.
    What were you recording there?

Thanks guys. It's natual light, although low light. Was around 5:30? I think.

I was recording a chorus and orchestras performing the Messia. Was cool!

    New challenge.

Day in the life of you!

Take a photo of something you do daily or near daily! Can be anything. Something you use, participate in, whatever.

    The more unique, the better!

Show me what's keeping you busy and not doing this :p

    Go!

Here's my submission for this week. I am a commercial insurance broker, spending much of my time at a desk, in the car, or meeting with clients, but I don't let my work pursuits take over what I enjoy doing. As often as possible I get to the beach to surf, run, or just relax and think. This was shot yesterday after some much-needed rain in San Diego. The skies parted and I went to enjoy the sunset at Oceanside Pier.

I don't grill every night, but close. When I get down to a quarter ton of lead shot for reloading I get nervous, and same when I get down to ~250 pounds of charcoal.

Sear and slide steak with coals directly under the meat for the sear, and crosshatch marks of course. Once seared it sits off to the other side with indirect heat to finish cooking with the cheddar cheese and bacon stuffed mushrooms. It was -11 this morning but only down to -1 last night when I took this. Winter does greatly increase cooking time but it is still worth it IMO.

    Pentax K-3 with DA*55 f/1.4, 5 sec exposure @ f/8 for 200 ISO.
