No sir, scoring is roughing up the clay when it's wet in order to create design or compact 2 or more other pieces of clay together.

STTTAAAAHHHHPPP! He used a scoring tool, to scrape a drawing of the lines into the area. ;) The act of scoring is to scrape clay from the surface to prepare it for being decorated or other pieces to attach to it, similarto scoring concrete, or tile mortar to recieve more product.
    Technically your both right.

Sorry Scott I read yours too quickly, you wouldn't score the clay after it comes out of the kiln because it is essentially brick at that point.

Did he lean it out too much? If you're in Germany like your profile says, would another block be cheap?

I'm not in Germany, but I'd expect so. IIRC from a few years back a used Vr6 long block is pretty cheap even stateside (~$500). New could probably get expensive but if it's an MKII I'd assume he's swapping in an MKIII engine.

For the past week, I have found bird poop on my tire in the same spot. Thought for a second it was really some sticky persistent crap. Then, reality hit and I thought they were perching on the tree and it was falling in. No birds on the branches. The ice is too thick on them. Hadn't thought the truck was going to be a perch let alone a shelter.

Caught them in the act. Well one. I'll put some bird seed in the tire for them and see what happens.

I've got that one thing, and that other one thing, oh yeah and that other other one thing.
He increased the compression when he built the motor the first time, 11:1. Stock is 10:1. Number 3 piston colided with the head at 7 grand and bent the connecting rod, and seized the crank. Pretty sure he spun a bearing or two as well, and the number 5 piston had some damage too.

Spot on, and you'd be surprised how pricey it is over here.

We just had an ultrasound yesterday and it looks like a baby (alien) for the first time. Time is flying by, too.

Just wait til (s)he is out, it doesn't slow down. My little one is already supporting herself while standing, and trying to walk. Going crazy.

I was trying not to look, but the baby's position wasn't easy to reveal a gender and I didn't see anything anyway. Had a thought the other day though that while I don't really have a preference, I'm pretty sure a girl would have me wrapped around her finger in no time. Having a mini version of Danielle would be pretty amazing.
