To save time you should have sent your PayPal ID in the PM. He will then send you an invoice and ship pretty quickly after payment.

I've did all that a couple of times since Feb. 18th. So I guess the only thing left to do is keep waiting.

Finding this post helped in my decision to trade my car in and take on $450 a month in payments for next 6 years. My car had GPS. Now i cant go anywhere new. Im directional challenged.

I'm about to get another Taco (3rd time). I've been reading these posts and I'm wondering what the benefit of stock Navi units vs aftermarket say Alpine or Kenwood etc. The truck will be a 2014 regular cab 2wd. How does the stock Navi units perform? I read about installs and such...but trying to figure what I should do to get navigation. Get from FLTrucks stock Navi unit or aftermarket. Sorry for the question...I never played with stock Navi unit or how the head unit sounds to know if it's worth going this route or going aftermarket.

    First post on here :)

I do not have any experience with aftermarket navigation units but I will say I love the OEM unit! It is very intuitive and reliable! The factory unit probably doesn't push the power of aftermarket, but loud music is not a priority of mine at this stage in my life. The OE unit is also much cheaper and looks better in my opinion.

OEM from FLTrucks fits my needs too. My wife's 2015 Rav4 came with factory Nav JBL and this puts me on par with her but no JBL. Much better than the Entune Plus that came with my 2015 Tacoma. Traffic app is actually useful with the Nav unit.

Using a VIN from the web worked for almost two months but I just got an email from entune saying their records indicate I may not have completed the purchase of the vehicle therefore my services would expire.
I called Toyota Customer Experience Center at 1-800-331-4331 and they said there was no way for them to associate a radio with a VIN and that it had to come with it from the factory. There was nothing they could do.

Anyone else get one of these?

    Just choose a different VIN?

You only need the vin to get the entune apps to your smart phone and do the entune upgrade and add the apps to the nav unit.
I don't have a smartphone but used my wife's apps from her 2015 Rav and all updated and loaded.
So no way they know who and where this is going and no way to shut you down.

You are correct...to make the radio work.
To get the APPS on the phone to work with the radio, you need a login and password for the Entune APP.

The radio is perfect, and honestly, if the APPS don't work at all I wouldn't be that upset about it. This thing is awesome.
Just trying to make it work like it is supposed to...if I can.

Send FLTrucks a PM. That's your best bet. He may not see this message on here right away.

Thanks, sent him a message mid February, but haven't gotten a response.

But once you've got the APPS on phone and nav unit, Which I assume you did on day one, you don't need to login anymore, Right?
Until I evolve and get a smart phone the entune apps only work if my wife is in the car with me. As long as my Nav,weather and traffic work I'm good to go. Never use Pandora and such.

FLTrucks might have sold out the last batch. Hasn't been many new reports of invoices and installations for a couple of weeks.
