Thinking about it aren't most gas stations 24/7? Especially with a high traffic area off the 8

Yeah that's what I assume just wasn't really sure how many places actually carry the passes. But thanks I'll start with gas stations and worst case is I pay $50 if I can't find any. Thanks hopefully I won't get stuck too much with 2wd, got a Detroit TruTrac and usually run my tires at 12psi.

I didn't get stuck once when I went, ran 4x4 to attempt olds, pull out a few 2wds, and like 2 other times after the group decided to stop on a hill lol

In Vista, "Filippi's" is called "Mama's and Papa's", same food and seasons... but not owned by a son and they wouldn't let a son-in-law have the original name, lol. Exit Civic Center on Hwy. 78, go north and it is on the right, just across the train tracks.

Oh, and it's walking distance from Speed Freek's place if he is working on your Tacoma!

Motoworld and veys in el cajon carry them. You'll be good in 2wd. Skinny pedal, be smart and don't stop. Plan to dig, meaning take a small shovel if you have one. Jeff and I drove all around glamis in 2wd. We stayed on the main routes and edge dunes. I'm an SUV which adds weight to the back and I run paddles. But jeff was a 2.4 one wheel wonder at the time.

Just realized I've been driving around with one hub locked in. No wonder the 4wd wasn't working well. I would unlock the drivers side then lock the passenger to use 4WD then lock the drivers side back in and unlock the passenger for 2wd.:facepalm:

Tax return came in so I bought a DD for the DD truck. 11mpg with my truck was burning a hole through my wallet. Now I can start saving to build it

Thankfully I get to use a vanpool rather than drive everyday. $130 subsidy and about $100 out of pocket.

I took my truck apart :/ it will be close to being finished up but I'd want to work out the bugs first.

Carnitas snack shack is good. They got one in del Mar now right next to my work. My go to sandwich is the triple threat.

I began having lunch there when I worked in Vista back around 1987-1994 (they just opened before my first time there), and they used to have a big photo of Mama and Papa Felippi on the wall when you walked in (the daily special price board is there now). It was the owner's wife's parents. The seasons on the table (look next time) are Filippi's brand lable. Of course the pizza rocks, with the Filippi style, cheese on top.

Anybody remember Graziano's? There used to be one by Rancho Bernardo High School. Now the closest location to San Diego is the one in Fontana.

Got rear ended a few minutes ago. Truck isn't damaged much. But the Altima that hit me looks rough lol. Any repair shops come to mind?
