Thank you, I didn't realize how far off people got on that joke. I can't blame them for not reading the past post they were kind of far back, like 1 or 2 pages. Not to worry though my parole officer says I'm not allowed......oh never mind, I don't want to offend!

great bumper, love mine. I was surprised the first time i took off the stocker, they are pretty close in weight.....that stock hitch is beefy.

Installed some switches from OTRATTW. Fixed some other wiring so now I've got two free spots left instead of none.

Wow, that's good to know. I figured I'd be gaining a ton of weight in the ass end with the AP.

I installed an overhead console on my 2011 Tacoma with the Temperature/Compass display replacing the console with the garage door opener compartment.

It was pre-wired and all I had to do was take down the old console and plug in the new one. Great buy off of e-Bay for $150! All I had to do was change the VAR zone from 8 to 10 and the compass works as it should.

Anyone that wants to calibrate their compass . . you need to press and HOLD the switch until the VAR shows in the display and match your zone as indicated in the manual. The manual just says to push the switch and nothing about HOLDING it until the display changes to VAR.

Also, before I purchased I searched a lot of threads on TacomaWorld. A lot of the posts are invaluable for information.

The display I bought will work in 2009, 2010, and 2011 only. It appears the wiring has changed after 2008. 2008 and earlier displays will not work in 2009 and newer . . . and the newer displays will not work in pre-2009 vehicles. The consoles are not interchangeable unless you plan on doing additional or extensive work.

    Thanks TacomaWorld.

Yeah, you can purchase a hinge kit for the plate. I rarely use my hitch so not a huge deal.

That's surprising. That AllPro setup is 140 lbs. I never would of thought the stock setup was anywhere near that.
