So I've decided against MTs. I will stick to ATs and keep my stock tires which are great on the street (ok off-road) and are pretty new. Although I want some 285/75/16s, I see no point in upgrading to them until these 265/75/16s wear out.

I really wanted Kenda Klever KR29. Then I thought about the noise and gas mileage hit.

Then I looked at KO and KO2. I currently have some Rugged Terrains which have been out at Hidden Falls and did ok in the dry.

Biggest problem is I can only regear to 4.10...I'm afraid the truck will be pretty slow with the 32.9s and 4.10s lol.

    No it's not..
    I might be in
    hey babe ;)
Just go mud terrains and re gear to 4.56's

if I go back to 31's I'll probably regear to 4.10. Depending on how Jambo goes I might stick with 33's or go 35's and regear to 4.56's

Sup girl  31's and 4.10's you'd be way over geared. 4.10's and 285's is spot on with stock iirc

Soooo, same shit different day? It's interesting with you. You keep being surprised at the scheduling.

And when you're not around, you are looked for, but then when you are here, it's "schedule the meets when he's out".

    It's like everyone is psychotic...

A lot of people have never heard of Kenda unless they are cyclists. They make awesome MTB tires. They started shipping auto/truck tires to the USA a couple years ago and have since had really good reviews. The 285/75/16s used to be around 550 shipped, now the lowest I've found is 664 shipped for a set. Like anything else there are also bad reviews out there, a few had thread seperation, some of those ran them severely underinflated on the freeway and heated them up lol.

Here is a review with the pros and cons...
    http://overlandguild.org/index.php?topic=129.0

My BFGs were ok out at HF. It surprised me that they performed almost as good as the KOs, which I wasn't expecting. I'll look into those.

Seeing as how I cruise at 80+ on the interstate and have been using the truck more as a daily until I can get maintenance taken care of on my wagon I don't see the 4.56s being feasible. Current gas mileage is 16.5mpg with my lead food. If I drive normally it with spurts of being myself I get 19mpg.

Plus I don't have the options for regearing like you do currently.

    What's your gas mileage like?

That's pretty much what I figured. Good to know someone with more experience thinks the same.
