    In also.

Sweet, Stalker is bringing the port a potty!

    Just a heads up...
I was stopped on the way back from attempting this very same thing by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Warden last year coming into the Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge after the tide came in (attempted to make it to Louisianna and I almost did).
They wanted to fine me for driving across the vegetation, which I did do because the tide had washed out the beach. It is the very same path we took last time I went out there with a group (upper bank has tire tracks, which is what we used).
I pulled my Canadian citizen and I am a biologist that graduated from UHCL who wasn't aware that law existed for regions that do not have a protected dune. They then informed me of the current law and with some trepidation let me go after talking amongst themselves.

That said I will be making it out. Probably be best to wait for donuts.

I'm down for the 21st. Been meaning to get the truckling back to the beach.

Edit: I haven't done it, but is it possible/legal to make it from San Luis Pass to Surfside Beach by sand? From the google earth it looks plausable.

    Bonus pic just because.
