why would they suck? Provided his parent company is based out of one state, then it's easy.

 

You probably already went shopping, but I'd throw my money at steel for those angled pieces especially if your going to bend them yourself to a custom angle. The Aluminum is just so flexible unless you went with thicker stock, it would just bounce/flex more I would think while driving at higher speeds.

I have friends who have moved, and their spouse's jobs have asked them to stay on. They set them up with an in-home office and all the stuff to do their job from their new home in a new state. They get taxed the same because they are working for a company in the original state.

I haven't been "home" for more than 5 days since 2002. But "home" was where I grew up. In my 12.5 years in the AF, I have amassed 1680 days away from where I was stationed. I love traveling, and you get nice perks to travel for work.

It's a hospital, and she is a registrar. All she really needs is a computer and a phone line, and can do all the work her company asks her to do.

In fact, the majority of the people who do this work for some sort of hospital/insurance type place where they don't need to leave the house for work.

 

Not for me, I love being right where I am at and traveling outside of work

Nothing purchased yet. Yeah, if I went aluminum it would be something fairly thick. I only have very basic tools so I like to keep things simple and I've been liking the aluminum lately. Easy to cut and drill with less weight. But, I do understand what you're saying. I think I'll go with three mounts, one on each end and one in the middle. I'm hoping the lower edge will rest on the roof so the down force should hold it tight. I still need to get the rack on first so I can get my measurements. If I have time I may see if I can use the old man's garage tomorrow seeing as how we're about to get more snow.
