I think if theyre already set at the 3in mark you shouldnt have a problem selling them. I dont think a lot of people would be lowering them much. But thats just my opinion. I dont ever see myself lowering my truck after getting it lifted. either way. you have 2 days to debate on it.

Do you guys mind if I ask why u would go with the ADS coil-overs rather than the big 3 remote resi for mid-travel setups? I have read about the Icons being digressive rather than progressive, etc, but maybe there are some other reasons.

    TIA

Cue Jason for all the crazy tech specs..

One of the good reasons is the coating that ads uses is probably the best coating any of the shocks people use. Another is the triple seal internal design.

    Triple seal on seal cap
Cadmium plated and ceramic clear coat finish
    7075 aluminum piston
Your choice of hard chromed or nitrosteel shaft
    Flawless machining
Teflon bronze wear band (also standard on King)
Additional o-ring groove/seal on the piston for better seal (upgrade on King)

well if i sell them as is they would be adjusted higher than 3".. id have to basically pay 360$ to have them adjusted down to the 3". Im trying to get this done sooner than later because this is my DD and its already been down for 2 weeks.

I'm going to decide tonight wether to have them rebuilt or to just grab some OME coil overs from wheelers off road.

What do these ADS typically run for? I did a quick search but didn't find much

    Introducing the new.....railroad ads coilovers!

Tuned to make your truck handle like it was on the rails of the 19th century. Cornering never felt so stiff.

What the hell is all this shit? We're TW. We don't want data and facts. What really matter is if they're cool or not. I don't need fancy aluminum and flawless machining if other people don't know they're cool.

Just look at the build thread
Apparently ADS doesn't sell non-resi coilovers :pout: Guess I'll give my money to King.

    Food for thought

    1) Resi's give you more oil capacity and a larger nitrogen cavity. More oil means less rebuild intervals and more oil means more cooling capacity.
    2) Resi's are an aluminum heat sink. They disperse the heat better than the steel body shocks alone.
    3) Resi's have an internal floating piston (IFP) that separate the nitrogen cavity from the oil cavity. This translates to no shock oil cavitation.
    4) Emulsion shocks suck for tuning.
