    Purchased my 2014 DCSB in Magnetic Gray back in May. 6sp!

    I'm located in downtown Pittsburgh.


    Question(s): I have zero mechanical know-how. I desperately want to lift the truck a bit and throw on slightly beefier tires. Can anyone recommend a decent shop around the Pittsburgh area for this?

    OR. Is anyone up to helping me do it(I'll pay, and bring beers).

    I was thinking something along this:

    Front:
    Bilstein 5100 set at 2.5" w/ factory coils

    Back:

    Icon progressive leaf pack (3 leaf aal)

    I was told to get a 2" AAL because a guy I spoke to was told by his shop that the leaf pack that he got was going to be 1.5", but they had to remove the bottom leaf from the factory set up to install the leaf pack, so really it only lifted the back end 1".

    I'm a hell of a nurse, fellas, but a mechanic I am not.


    I work in Robinson, so obviously very close to moon. I live in the North Side. Manchester to be exact, right near the Stadiums.

    I have the icon progressive with the overload leaf, it works just fine. The 2" aal will ride rougher since its just one leaf. Check out my truck and see if thats what you're going for. I have heavier springs in front for the bumper and (future) winch. Not the best picture but it'll give you an idea.

    I'd recommend getting some other springs for the front, you'll have a lot of pre load with stock coils set at 2.5. If you don't mind spending a little more money get this and choose the 885 springs, no top plate spacers, no diff drop, and 3 leaf pack. I ran this exact setup for a year until I switched out the coils for the 886's.
    edit: also get a 1/4 inch top spacer for the driver side to prevent taco lean.
