I would never consider letting Walmart touch my truck. I have seen the shit they do to cars. Tires mounted without the beads fully seated, tires mounted backwards, all sorts of shit. Not going to tell you guys where to go, but discount only does tries, they are good at what they do. Lifetime balance is generally $16 per tire, and we will never let you leave in an unsafe fashion.

As far as cheaper prices go on tires, discount will match any advertised price. Period. The warrantee that they offer on their tires is hands down unbeatable. And if you buy your tires through discount, lifetime balancing, rotations and repairs are included for the life of the tires.

    Just one mans opinion haha

What do you mean "pulling a fast one on unsuspecting customers'? If informing customers that there tires are worn out, dangerous and need replacement is pulling a fast one, it sure seems like a good thing.

I've been a customer of Discount ever since my first car. They've always been good even when shit goes bad. I've had 2 wheels come off after leaving there and each time they made good on the error.
Its nice to be able to get a rotation, air check or balance at any time. Shit one of the guys even gave me a valve stem torque screwdriver.

I'll chime in too...Discount has been nothing but excellent for me as well. Even after an accident of some shop equipment falling and damaging my truck, they made it right. Pretty bad experience at first but with the way they handled it, I'm certainly still a customer and am more than pleased with them.

And as far as WalMart automotive goes...no way I'd take my truck there either. They once forgot to refill the engine oil after draining it in my sisters car and needless to say, that didn't end well.

I find it very hard to believe that they would try to charge you $262 more than what it costs.

And that they would quote you $60 more a tire. Chances are you didn't want any warrantee, and didn't realize you car had a tpms system etc.

Environmental fee is $2.50 per tire, gov. required. And when they "took it off", they just took more money off the tire. I deal with people all day like that that have a problem spending the massive $10 to dispose of their tires lol.

Your free to do what you want, but that's not how every discount I have been to works, so at some point you gotta wonder what you are doing for them to want to overcharge you lol.

Yeah man, that's awesome! Like I said when you are ready for tires, I'll give you a friends and family discount and hook you up :)

We do dispose of the tire man, we pay an outside company with that money to take them and recycle them. And for rock bottom prices, it's a business. So of course there is some room for negotiation, but if they offered their rock bottom prices, they wouldn't make money at all.

I know your not badmouthing man haha, just an interesting convo lol. My point here is that sure they may not advertise the lowest price, but they will match it.

Come down to my store some time, I'll balance and rotate your tires, and inflate them for you!
