    I have absolutely 0 need for a resi shock. Paying 1.5x the price for them is just a waste of $500 for me. I could use that $500 toward a set of aftermarket UCAs.

    The 505 is what I have in my ash tray. It's cheaper than the 520, and definitely worse I think. It has no RF gain knob and the squelch is a knob that functions more like a 3 position switch. I wish I had gotten a 520 to start with

    Thanks for the info. I understand the advantages of resis for the most part and would love to have them just for the peace of mind. I just don't use my truck in a way that justifies the added cost. But I'm still a couple of months from ordering so maybe something will change before then. Just in the research stage at the moment.

    Ahh, yea glad I did my research before buying this one.. still pretty unfamiliar with cb radios though. Wish I would have researched my coil overs as much as my cb radio, then I would have chosen the right ones.. Lol

    Nice! I can't wait to try this thing out.

    I'm on my second set of coils (first was 881, second is 882) and they've both sagged too much for my liking. Rather than adding spacers or what not, I'm just going to upgrade to a true adjustable coilover. I won't be replacing the rear Nitrochargers until I collect the rest of my parts for my rear shock relocation. Then I'll upgrade the tears to some 12" Kings.
