Yeah Idk... Not to happy. I have emails telling me last week that they swapped parts out of a working Taco to mine such as sensors etc and it cured everything so that's why they replaced all my air to fuel ratio sensors and blamed their failure to my fuel. But the papers I have in hand from the tech's notes say way different. That they did replace sensors due to running rich, but when replaced sensors with working Taco in lot that my truck CONTINUED to show misfire even with new plugs and coils.

Not fun at all. A difficult diagnosis is not fun for anyone involved. Sounds like your service writer is trying to blame you for the cars faults and not even listen to the tech. While you suffer without your car the tech suffers with diminished pay (warranty does not pay well at all) so everyone goes away with frustrations. Make sure you are providing them with as much information as possible.

Do you have a thread with the whole backstory?

I agree with Hoyal; Toytec will mention the guy next door. I considered using him but after speaking with him twice and getting a different story both times, I took my business elsewhere. While I haven't used InSain Fab, I've seen some impressive work on here by them. Someone posted pictures of a cab mount chop by InSain like a month ago which was super clean. I thought all CMCs were about the same until I saw that one. It looked like an entirely new mount.

I ended up going with Kirk at Rock Toy Industries. He's in Denver, specializes in Toyotas, and has reasonable prices. ebbs15 will also vouch for him. I've been impressed with his professionalism. He's provided me only the service I needed and never tried to sell me on more.

I was thinking a pinched wire intermittently shorting or something. I wonder if the motor has ever been in too.. doubtful with how many miles are on it.

I discussed it with him quite a bit in this thread. its probably 10 pages back by now or more...

Yeah my buddy took his FJ to Insain fab after the guy next door fumbled around with his lift. Also did the cab mount from IF he is very happy with the work. Also he did it on a phone calls notice for a great price, stand up guys for sure.

Took some digging, but I found the CMC pics by InSain. Check that mess out. That's cray cray. Do people still say cray cray?

I need to take mine to Insain when the time comes for the CMC. Which may be sooner rather than later, I've noticed a tendancy for ice to build up on top of the mount in between the body and it makes a ton of noise every time the body and frame move.

to many to list, check the build thread
i was meaning as a lift purchase option!!! They have plenty of kits available by multiple manufactures

for lift install, id say just get a buddy or two and have at it!!! then go get an alignment and call it a day, but if your not the type to wrench a little then id recommend In Sain fab as well!!
