I am looking to use them as fog lights. Not driving lights. But I was looking as some rigids that could be re-purposed if I get an after market bumper down the line. I just dont know what style works best in fog. Driving, flood, or diffused.

And as far as rugged goes I am talking about this radio and setup for when I dirt bike I can talk to my buddies in their trucks and buggies. http://www.ruggedradios.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=763&products_id=1323
And that radio looks like a baofang.

 

I will have to look into non-LED fog light set up then.
I understand it looks like the uv5r. My thing is I want to be able to integrate the helmet mic with the rugged setup and the price difference between the mic and radio setup compared to just the radio setup is ridiculously small. So my thought is why not just get the Mic setup with the radio. Rather than buy the baofang and not know if it will be a perfect to a T match.

 

The baofeng radios use a kenwood connection it is the 2 pins one 3.5mm one 2.5mm so TX and RX are on separate pins in the same plug. Not sure if that helps answer your question. I just know for sure its the same as Kenwood

 

Thanks! That will help. My buddy bought the rugged for $80 without bundling it.... Like an idiot. So I can look at his connections and see if they match to what your connections are.

Good find! I just bought a set of tires for my truck from that same buyer right now

 

I ran it in my turbo car for a year. Never tested the oil after a change, but it holds up to angry turbo heat well. There is a lot of cleaners in it so it makes the intake kinda messy at the engine breather
