well I've used my e locker quite a few time especially out at my friends ranch so thats where i needed the OR. the way i see just like you said you pick on you build it to look like the other or even buy one model and throw the pro model stuff on it too. although I like the look of the 16 coming out my next truck will be a full size with a V8 being that the taco V6 and a V8 makes similar gas mileage

I would only get a TRD pro if your not going to change out the suspension, otherwise its a waste of money, cheaper to get a sport and add a locker, but then you wouldn't have the added resale of the TRD pro. Or just get a TRD off road and get a hood.

Or like I just text you, get my old truck. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...yota-tacoma-v6-sport-25000-obo-philly-pa.html Best of both worlds.

LOTS of wiring, dual battery setup, Solar charging system, with some random lights spread around here and there.
By design the Sport has a better suspension set up for off-road in the way of spring rates in the front coils. I'd get the sport with the long bed, If you get super serious about it in the future just do what Spoonman did to his DCLB and chop off the back and make it a short bed. :D

Sport with an after market locker would be your best bet in my opinion.

i second that, desert rat saved me almost 400 bucks when i got my OME kit installed. 4wheel parts wanted almost 700 plus alignment whereas desert rat did 400 with alignment. it came down to about 200 install with alignment and 200 for the labor. very happy with them and continue to recommend them to anyone!

thanks guys! also me and a buddy will be doing custom light bars. custom painted, custom rings, custom lenses, RGB backlighting, anything else you want! getting bars for cheap and sell them for cheap. wanna get the people in NM hooked up with some custom bars. (i think we can all agree that the china bars on civics or the 50s on stock rangers gets old)

sandia MX they do everything from bikes and quads as well as off road karts coming soon. by looking at their website (I've never been) it doesn't say if open to the public just to ride looks like you pay a fee to practice or enter a race.

my brother an i have raced since like 2003. everything here is gone... sadly. sandia is out in Moriarty, other than that there is no tracks in ABQ. There is Aztec, Dixson, Alamogordo, that are tracks. anything else is just jp track, table top, southern, 19th or any other little tracks. not much around here

Sandias only open once a month or so…. :(

Im going to Aztec this weekend but its a little far for day trips every weekend… I usually go out towards road jump(southern) and northern areas but all of the main ones are so trashed and I really want some decent jumps that aren't sketchy... :( I've heard of a couple private tracks but I don't know any of the owners.

Got some work done on the back of the truck this weekend. Had to make my own adapter to go from the compressor to the standard compressor fittings. Should hold pretty well.
