I think I will get these ted rims too. The more I see them, the more I like them.

Yeah, what is she asking for those black Sema rims? Cheapest I've seen on eBay is $750 shipped.

So I bought the TRD wheels for my 2011 4x4 Taco base model, bought black lug nuts, took them to discount tire & apparently I got the wrong lugs for the TRDs, had to order mag lugs which are different than the stock ones that fit my steelies. Problem solved..hopefully. Now DT just called ME & said the my stock TMPS's won't work either, can anyone chime in about this & direct me to the right ones & at the best price????

I asked before i bought if everything was the same. But in my case I took my truck to NTB since my cousin worked on it. They were able to use the same lug nuts but as far as the TPMS he said they didn't fit since they didn't bend to the shape of the TRD wheels. He ended up getting some from there since i didn't want to wait and just paid $132 for 4. After discount it went down to 45 bucks for 5 since they throw a spare on in.

Not sure... I believe its national tire and battery which is what they work on. There nationwide but its 4 of them for $130 plus tax... The only reason I got them so cheap was because of my cousin working there

Alloy TPMS sensors only fit alloy wheels. Steel TPMS sensors only fit steel wheels.

When I replaced my steel wheels with alloy I put my sensors in a PVC "pipe bomb" (write up is somewhere on this forum). I have only had to put more air in the tube once in 2.5 years.

I have no use for a TPMS system. I have a habit of checking my air pressure on a regular basis. This system has worked for me since the mid 90's and has worked for humanity since the automobile was born. I may be the minority but I will avoid TPMS sensors.

Thanks for the feedback! The only problem I've read here on this forum w/ chucking ur TPMS is if u start to a run a flat u risk ruining ur tire & rim.

The Thanks Rick! Is it the 20 or 40 degree sensor that's needed? I read in another Thread here from a '10 Taco owner & he used the same part # listed from ur camelback link, he used the 20 degree, it looks like the part # hasn't changed since 2010 & from what I see in eBay there are some cheap used deals to be had. Do know if I'll just need the valve looking part to replace or the whole part?

Sweet! I have been waiting to get the TRD exhaust and this might be the trigger.

Installed my roof rack today. Pretty straight forward and easy to install.
As mentioned earlier in the thread....There are 2 brackets that are installed on the front of the cab that will need to be tweaked prior to tightening every thing down. If you are putting one on you will know what I am talking about when you get your kit. Easy to bend. If you don't do a fit/function, you may have a gap. Anyways, thanks again unchained for the leg work.
