    Is it me, or does mine need checking ? I don't think anybody notices me when I honk my horn. I had a guy cut me off today and I gave him a blast of my horn and it didn't stop him from moving over. I can't hardly hear it in my cab, so I wonder if it can be heard by others. Kinda this annoying faint beep. Considering a different horn to grab some attention. Any thoughts ?

    Get someone to honk it while you're outside. If its not to your liking try spraying some sort of rust chek or equivalent into the horn. I've had them seize before. Check the connectors to the horns. If all else fails get some huge ass honking air horn, BAM

    You should have a high note horn and a low note horn. When one is not working the remaining one is weak at best.

    Open the hood and put your ear right up against the horn and have someone press the button. No I'm kidding. Open the hood and listen to both and make sure they are working.

    Mine are plenty loud. Maybe the people that live there are just assholes.

    I am seriously thinking of installing an air horn from a semi. Some people on the road lately are straight up dangerous. At least I would be able to startle them. Haha.

    My nephew has a train horn (of some sort) on his GMC. He doesn't have a spare underneath, it has been replaced by a high pressure air tank. Now thats loud. I won't go to that extreme but I will check mine out tomorrow.

    Try taking the baffle off of them. They clip on iirc. Much louder without them on. Obviously if they aren't working then replace.

    I had the low tone horn not working well on mine...

    My horn was kind of on and off in terms of loudness for a while. Then I realized the high tone was working fine, but the low tone was intermittent. After testing the horn repeatedly, I noticed the low tone was starting to be more regular.

    Then I started to test it out occasionally when driving through a remote area, and it works perfectly now. It sounds much louder when the high and low tone are working properly.

    Maybe I'll try to spray some sort of rust proof treatment into it to prevent the problem in the future as suggested above.

    This, pop those tin baffles off! Then stuff a rag in one at a time to test individually, it makes it easy to tell if both are working. I've often wondered if '07+ Tundra horns would be a direct replacement, they sound way better. Hellas or others are probably cheaper though.

    I put three hella horns from the wreckers on my wife's corolla, high, med, low tone, now that grabs attention like no other electric horn I've ever heard.

    My 2015 only came with one horn and it had no baffle on it.

    I replaced it with a Wolo #415 and like it just fine, thank you!

    Super easy to install, I used the stock horn wire to trigger the relay I installed for the air horns. Can see here:
    <http://wolo-mfg.com/horns/air-horns/model-415-airsplitter-12-volt.html>

    You can get them on Amazon for $40-$50
