    on the way home today....my damn cel came on. stopped by my buddies shop and got him to hook up the code reader to it..........code is p0031.....afr sensor...bank 1 sensor 1...............only a lil over 59k miles on it!:rolleyes: went on to the dealership....low and behold.....they had one in stock.....so i got it......and if it would quit friggin raining....ima change it! rant off.

    ahahaha...........no! the wrap warranty i bought with the truck apparently doesnt cover it.:rolleyes: to me,it should have, but i asked before i bought the sensor, and she told me that it wasnt covered.

    true. i just paid $212 plus tax for the fuckin thing tho........at least it'll be easy enough to change it out.

    If you can get wet for a little bit go out and soak the nuts in PB Blaster or WD40. It'll make it easier to pull the old one later when the rain does let up.

    Changed mine in less than 10 minutes. Hardest part is they hid the tab on the electrical connector on top. Easier to take the connector bracket off the side of the tranny, then pull it apart. One bolt.

    rain stopped......went and changed the sensor......nuts werent to bad to get loose.......tab for connector.....a beeotch!!:D now........im waiting a few minutes....unhooked the neg batt cable and letting it reset itself.
