    I'm debating on boosting my Tacoma now. I have more boost parts for my DA9 Integra then my for my Taco lol. 3 turbos: Nismo GT28R, Greddy 18G, and Garrett T3/T4 50 Trim, Apexi AVCR boost controller, Blitz turbo timer, Greddy BOV, Hondata S300 on a P30 ECU, etc... I don't drive the DA9 that much nowadays it's mostly a garage queen with occasionally spirited drive in the canyons and mountain roads. It was boosted before but for Daily driven it sucked up a lot of fuel due to my driving style. Just debating if I should bother to boost both vehicles :)

    BTW it's going to get tuned for 300whp :thumbsup:

    I would have to upgrade the turbo to at least a GT3071R and that's probably not enough :D

    IMHO the TRD S/C with supporting mods (smaller pulley, tuning, a valve body upgrade, etc.) is a setup that will work without much effort or guess work on any Tacoma.

    A Turbo on the 1GF-RE is asking for a headache if you aren't a turbo pro. Even on here there are a few members who have +$10K into there setup and are still not able to drive it daily without issues... it does require a lot of work for the payoff that might not work out. There just aren't any good reliable kits to start from.

    I would never want a turbo underneath my truck because in my line of work that sucker would be in mud or water all the time. That constant extreme hot/cold is going to wreck something pretty fast. Plus a blow off valve underwater does not sound like a good idea lol.

    Yeah I hear you guys, if I do boost the Tacoma it's going to be TRD SC route mainly because I don't want to deal with smogging a OBD2 vehicle and the 2010+ computer no one has cracked yet.
