I know ADS will do non-resi front CO's, I was quoted for the resi ones but he never got back to me on the non-resi CO's so I'd assume they were about $300 less.

I have a very...random question for all you 2nd gen owners.
I am looking into trying to get the grill/headlights of the 2nd gen to fit on my 02 (after extensive modification of course) and I was wondering if anyone had an extra grill and/or pair of headlights laying around- just for mockup I would return them back to you, or a decent amount of time that we could meet up and I "borrow" yours (temporarily take grills off and hold yours up to my truck)
If anyone would be willing to do this it would save me the hassle of buying brand new lights then just having them sit around. I am planning buying aftermarket ones with HIDs if I can get this to work but don't want to spend the $ on them for it not to work.

If you lived closer I might be able to help you. Check out the long travel bs thread. There's a fiberglass kit that turns the front of 1st gens to 2nd gens

 

I have looked into that, but I am not currently LT so it would look goofy IMHO. It would also be like 4x as much and I would still have to buy the grille/headlights

 

Unfortunately is gonna look goofy no matter what because your front is going to be way wider than the rest of the body :/

 

I am going to cut the grill down and custom satoshi it so it will be less wide. Or that is my thought anyway...

I don't think it would look goofy at all. This truck isn't that wide, and $850 isn't too bad price wise.



I think I like the tundra conversion better though, and you don't have to buy a grill!

 

I've got it priced out to be right under 250 including the lights and the grill, I just can't quite sit on 200$ worth of headlights if I cant get them to fit I don't mind messing up a 30$ grill
