Ok, Mr.....What qualifies you to KNOW whether or not it actually works fine? I mean.......Are you a racecar driver? Have you driven cars that DONT have ABS in ice?

I had no issues with my ABS keeping me straight and stopping on snow / ice mixture as long as you don't drive like a fucktard and keep plenty of distance and a safe speed. Yes I've driven without ABS and just pulse the brakes. Pretty simple. ;)

99% of the people I see passing me on the freeway doing 70mph in ice and snow. Then slam on their brakes as soon as they hit a bridge. Good times.

    Haha found these

    noun,
A person of unbelieveable, inexcuseable and indescribable stupidity. (Stupidity being defined as "knowing how and doing it wrong anyway")

NOT A CONTRACTION FOR "FUCKING RETARD"! Those who are truly "Retarded" are not responsible for their affliction. True Fucktards are 100% responsible for their situation and provide vast entertainment as they are usually blissfully unaware of their own Fucktardery. Most politicians for example.

    Or if you prefer....
Defin: A leotard with a hole in the crotch instead of snaps so you can get some quick in and out action between ballet performances.

Just today I had the abs acting like a bitch. Half the road was exposed pavement and the other snow. I went to slow down to make a turn and the truck just kept going. I'm definitely putting an abs kill switch in. I absolutely hate abs.

This is the same issue I have. I was on ice and I thought I'd test the ABS because of this thread. So it kicks in and the ice ends and I roll onto dry pavement and I'm still rolling along, no braking power at all

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
After two aircraft packed down the ice on the runway the ABS worked great for this Delta flight. [IMG] ABS ROCKS!

Still better than losing your shit sideways and doing a barrel roll. Think about what happens when a plane with wings full of fuel fumes decides to go sideways when the brakes lock up.

They will find out that those pilots landed too fast, too long, or that there was something not correctly set on the aircraft for landing. Pilot error is the number one thing that causes modern airline incidents just like cars, no offense to pilots of course.

Fun Fact ~ ABS was invented for aircraft in the 1920's
