Same tires here, they're pretty good! I just need weight in my bed for the best traction possible

Look at my build, I had 275's before my 255's
I like the 275's and they look sweet. If you don't want to trim go 275's no question

Thanks for the advice. Your truck looks great. I'm a month out from finally lifting mine.

Well the Maxx's are gone.. No more pulling and balance seems good. Guess it was a bad set. Now have BFG KO2 265/70/17 Load C, I'm surprised that as far as stiffness, it rides about the same as compared to the Load E Maxx's.. They are smoother I believe bc the tread design, and quiter. Too bad tho, I still like the Maxx's. The KO2 seems to be a good sound tire so far.

Maybe I'll go 285 or 275, have 265 now, too small

Not sure if it's been mentioned in this thread but you can get a set of coopers $200 off on Discount Tire Directs Ebay store ($100 off $400 so $200 off if you do 2 sets of 2 tires)

I jumped on this. I got 2 sets of 2 tires for $850 ($80 tax between the two sets). 275/70/17 wasn't even offered on their website. Winning!

I couldn't find the Cooper st maxx 255/85r16. Discount Tire says they have been discontinued. Do you think the Cooper Discoverer st is just as good?

They are not discontinued. Big o tires told me the same thing 6 months ago, I just bought a set last week. Amazon actually has a decent price when you factor in free shipping and no tax

The ST Maxx is only a few years old for a design. The ST is much older I wouldn't be surprised if they had their information reversed and it's the old style being discontinued

    Debating between 285 70 17 or the 255 80 17?

Your thoughts? Anyone know how tall each tire is?

    Thanks,
