Here's a good guide for reference. But you can pretty much cut as much as you want.

Wrong thread to ask, but what do you consider a good camera for let's say a $800 budget?

If you're in the market for a new camera check out Pentax, they are one of the lesser know brands but make good cameras. I have the k30 pretty much the same specs or better then others in the price range, plus weather resistant, manual focus while in auto focus, and a few others I can't remember at the moment. The body itself feels better made/higher quality then those in the same price range. I think I paid around $600 for mine. Though I am in no way an expert.

Sweet, I'll look that up. $800 doesn't necessarily mean I got to spend that much on a camera, so the less the better!
I guess I want something that takes great reso pics, lots of options, and not one of those tiny handhelds ones.

I'm a few months away from a new camera(well any camera if that, iPhone haha) since my mod $ is going towards a tent at the end of this month.

The 60d I use can be had for 800. It's awesome. Fully sealed, metal internal frame. Nice layout in buttons. And supports magic lantern.

Really you can get any DSLR body, it's the lens that makes the biggest difference and knowing how to use the camera.

Thanks man, I'll look that up too and compare various aspects.
So would there be a DSLR body type with I guess a grade below what the 60d is? Just to compare. Not sure if I worded that right.

Some lift, some armor, some scratches..
Where/how do you want to install it? Need a little more info so I can help..

Y not just tap-a-fuse or add an aux power outlet under the dash and sneak the wires..

all this and a bag of chips.

I went with the Nikon over the Canon as I liked the ergonomics and interface better. Also, did a bunch of research on lenses and felt there were better options at certain price points for the Nikon.

Been pretty happy with the combo of the 3200 and the 35mm FFL Nikor lense. A simple setup and with some work and practice, been able to get some decent shots.

Good to take in account, thank you sir.
I realize most of this, of course it's always about the lenses. Per application.
It's funny cause my dad used to be a shooter for PB back in the day, I'll ask him what he knows.

True not add large as others but there are some good options.

This, the main reason I went with mine, fits perfectly in my hand.

    Any rebel series really.

    THIS

won't matter if you have a nice camera if you don't learn to use it. As in..take it off the auto mode and learn how to adjust it and learn how to edit photos.

And i agree with all the other stuff. I was looking at the T3i till i picked on up..felt like a toy. The 60D..felt like a real camera.

And like i said earlier..glass is everything really..(lenses)
